Branden Hurd is an incredible, self-taught artist with a wide range of styles that have been expressed through his life long journey.
With limited access to materials at an early age, he started with a simple pencil and paper. His works were inspired by everything around him, from the complexity of a camera to the challenge of creating a composition using several references.
As his style progressed, he experimented with a multitude of different mediums, still with a focus to generally push towards realism.
Currently specializing in graphite renderings, Branden has a tendency to lean towards showing the more hidden, shadowed, and more taboo aspects of the world around us. Gaining notoriety, he’s recently developed a style featuring a beautifully depicted model with aspects of an x-ray style view into their skeletal system.
